From Cyprus
to the UK

Just 12 hours after being told his family were moving to the UK, Aki arrived in a cold, dark and foggy West Midlands in 1976. His parents had moved the family from Cyprus to start a new life in frying at a fish and chip shop in Quarry Bank. 

Continuing a family tradition

During school lunch hours, Aki would return to the shop to help his parents serve fish and chips. As time went on and his frying skills improved, Aki took over the running of The Three A’s Fish Bar expanding the menu to offer customers a delicious variety.

Keeping a menu fresh

Today, The Three A’s is known for firm favourites such as their battered chips, succulent sustainably-sourced fish and 100% gourmet beef burgers. Ever the innovator, Aki is going back to his roots to bring a Mediterranean twist to the menu with the introduction of authentic gyros and souvlaki.
